This opportunity is ideal for RNs looking for a flexible travel assignment in a rural healthcare setting.Hospital OverviewA 12-care space emergency department serving patients of all ages.Core staffing per shift: Three RNs and one LPN, with an additional CCA on day shifts to assist admitted patients awaiting transfer.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency setting.Assess, triage, and manage a variety of patient conditions, including trauma and acute medical cases.Perform point-of-care lab testing and administer medications per unit protocols.Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care.Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in accordance with Nova Scotia Health Authority guidelines.QualificationsActive RN License in Nova ScotiaMinimum one year of recent emergency department experienceMandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, CTASPreferred certifications: TNCC, ENPC, PALS, NRPProficiency in IV initiation and IV medication administrationStrong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively under pressureExperience in rural emergency care settings is an assetWhat We OfferCompetitive pay, including travel and accommodation allowanceFlexible scheduling and a supportive work environmentOpportunities for career growth in travel nursing #J-18808-Ljbffr
