HR Generalist Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a dynamic role where you can make a real impact? Were seeking a motivated HR Generalist with a background in manufacturing to join a forwardthinking team. This is a fulltime position, and candidates must be able to work in the U.S. or travel there as required. What Youll Do Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Lead fullcycle recruitment for a variety of roles, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding. Partner with managers to understand hiring needs, create role profiles, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Build and maintain a talent pipeline through LinkedIn, job boards, career fairs, and employee referrals. Manage offboarding with professionalism, ensuring smooth transitions. Stay uptodate on recruitment trends and the competitive talent landscape. HR Operations & Systems Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, performing regular audits and updates. Support system updates, documentation, and training. Assist with HR compliance, policy reviews, and annual attestations. Prepare internal communications regarding HR processes and system enhancements. Employee Experience, Engagement & Culture Plan and implement employee engagement and recognition programs aligned with company culture. Coordinate performance management cycles, including goal setting and reviews. Support employee training and development initiatives. Analyze engagement trends and recommend improvements. Employee Relations & Policy Guidance Support managers with employee relations, attendance, accommodations, and performance discussions. Coach employees and leaders through workplace challenges with a peoplefirst approach. Provide guidance on employment standards, health and safety, human rights, and relevant legislation. Assist in resolving workplace issues with discretion and professionalism. Compensation, Benefits & Compliance Conduct salary benchmarking and assist with merit and bonus planning. Help administer benefits programs, including renewals and open enrollment. Support job description reviews, classification updates, and competency frameworks. Ensure compliance with evolving employment legislation and company policies. What Were Looking For 45 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a generalist role. CHRP/CHRL designation (or in progress) is a strong asset. Experience in manufacturing, startups, multientity organizations, or cleantech environments preferred. Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or a related field. Strong knowledge of Ontario employment standards; familiarity with U.S. employment practices is a plus. Proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism. Experience improving and streamlining HR processes and practices. Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting, etc.). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels. Curious, proactive, and solutionsfocused, with a willingness to take initiative.
