Were growing and seeking a driven HVAC Account Manager to drive sales and build lasting relationships in the vibrant BayArea market. What Youll Do Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of HVAC customers through outside sales, onsite visits, and needs assessments. Deliver tailored HVAC solutions by leveraging your deep product knowledge and conducting system evaluations. Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify upsell/crosssell opportunities, and exceed sales targets. Stay informed on branch performance, strategic plans, and how they align with our employeeowned culture and values. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, technical support, and customer satisfaction. What Were Looking For Proven experience in HVAC wholesale/distribution sales or related outside sales (contractorfacing preferred). Strong understanding of HVAC products, systems, and industry trends. Selfmotivated, highly organized, with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with solid business acumen and leadership potential. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for territory travel. Key Responsibilities Understand customers needs and requirements by conducting onsite visits, assessing HVAC systems, and offering tailored solutions. Deliver effective sales presentations to customers, showcasing the features and benefits of HVAC products and services. Explain technical specifications, energy efficiency, cost savings, and any other relevant information to persuade customers to choose your offerings. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers; provide exceptional customer service, address any concerns or issues promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction. Regularly follow up with customers to ensure their ongoing needs are met. Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations for HVAC products and services. Work closely with internal teams to determine pricing strategies, discounts, and negotiate contracts or agreements; ensure timely and accurate delivery of quotes to customers. Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals in alignment with company objectives. Develop and execute sales plans, strategies, and tactics to maximize sales growth and profitability. Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and generating leads for HVAC products and services, including market research, trade show attendance, networking, and building relationships with potential customers. High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred. HVAC industry experience and HVAC product knowledge. Three (3) years experience in sales in the HVAC industry. Bachelors degree preferred. Ability to manage complex projects and multitask. Strong communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; comfortable using a computer for various tasks. Accountability, strong work ethic, passion, integrity, respect, employee focused. Attention to detail, following directions, results oriented, selfconfidence, selfmanagement, using common sense, consistency, reliability, emotional control. Organization/planning, coaching/training, time management, team building, integrity, competitiveness. Proper phone etiquette, Phocas dashboards, Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite familiarity, effective written and oral communication. Drug Test: A drug test will be administered to ensure a drugfree workplace. Physical Requirements The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs. regularly, including carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a handtruck. Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Environmental Conditions The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
