Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Anesthesiologist based at Guelph General Hospital in Guelph, ON. The Anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering anesthesia, monitoring patient responses, managing pain, collaborating with surgeons and healthcare teams, and supporting critical care interventions when necessary. The role is integral in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of surgical and medical services within the hospital. Qualifications Expertise in Anesthesiology, including the administration and monitoring of anesthesia Comprehensive knowledge in Medicine and Critical Care to ensure optimal patient outcomes Ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams and perform in high-pressure Surgery settings Proficiency in Pain Management to support patient recovery and improve care quality Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work within a multidisciplinary team Full licensure and certification to practice as an Anesthesiologist in Ontario Bachelors degree in Medicine and completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program Experience in or interest in advanced surgical procedures, including bariatric and vascular surgical cases, is an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
