TalentWorld is recruiting a Business Development Representative in Mississauga, Ontario for one of its valued partners. This organization is a leading national distributor recognized for its customer-first culture, coast-to-coast operational reach, and strong commitment to employee development and professional growth. Recently expanded through a major national merger, this company is in active growth mode and building out its Canadian sales team. In this position, you will be responsible for building and managing a new sales territory across the Greater Toronto Area, developing new markets and client relationships, and driving revenue growth across key sectors including foodservice, hospitality, healthcare, grocery, and facilities management. What''s In It For You The base salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year and is specific to candidates located in Ontario. Compensation will be determined based on your experience, industry knowledge, and sales performance, with strong potential for growth as you build and expand your territory. Additional Benefits Include Pension plan and life insurance Comprehensive health and dental benefits Paid time off and additional holiday closures Ongoing product and sales training Mentorship and leadership development opportunities A supportive, team-oriented work environment with real career advancement potential within a rapidly growing national platform Business Development Representative Responsibilities Build and develop a portfolio of new and existing customer accounts within the assigned GTA territory Develop and execute a structured call plan, maintaining a full sales pipeline and performing regular business reviews with key accounts Identify, target, and acquire new customer accounts across foodservice packaging, facilities maintenance, and janitorial supply sectors Collaborate with internal teams including inside sales, credit, and operations to ensure seamless customer service and issue resolution Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and follow-ups to support ongoing projects and client needs Consistently meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting in Salesforce Plan and manage territory activities including route planning and client visits to maximize efficiency and coverage Support regional and national marketing initiatives and vendor programs as directed Business Development Representative Qualifications Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably within distribution, packaging, foodservice, or facilities maintenance Proven hunter mentality with a track record of building new business and developing client relationships from scratch Strong organizational and planning skills with experience managing a CRM tool such as Salesforce Above average verbal, written, and presentation skills with strong negotiation and problem-solving ability Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Experience in packaging, JanSan, foodservice distribution, or a related industry considered a strong asset Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record Willingness to travel 40 to 60% within the GTA territory on a daily basis This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within one of our client organizations.
