Role Description This is a full-time role for a 421A Heavy Diesel Mechanic based in Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON. Key responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy diesel and construction equipment. The mechanic will perform preventive maintenance, ensure equipment adheres to safety standards, and troubleshoot mechanical components. The role may also involve communicating with team members to coordinate repairs and equipment readiness. Timely and precise record-keeping of maintenance activities will also be part of the daily tasks. Qualifications Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance processes, ensuring optimal performance and safety of equipment Strong knowledge of Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment repair Experience in Equipment Maintenance, including diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems Ability to work well in a shop work environment and effectively communicate with team members 421A Heavy Equipment Technician certification or equivalent Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform efficiently under deadlines A valid drivers license and a clean driving record Experience with drills , cranes , heavy equipment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
