Belleville & Quinte West Community Health CentreCompensation Amount / Range $49,686 - $60,387/year based on 35 hours/weekBelleville Quinte West Community Health Centre (BQWCHC) is here to support you to reach your wellness goals. From our two locations in Belleville and Trenton, BQWCHC offers programs and services to improve individual health and community well-being. We are focused on health equity, with services available to anyone in the community, regardless of identity, income, or OHIP status.Our programs and services include primary health care delivered by an experienced, collaborative team of family doctors, nurse practitioners and other skilled health professionals. Our health and wellness programs include outreach support and drop-in groups, exercise programs and volunteering, and disease and illness prevention. We also offer regional programs, such as telemedicine, a dental clinic and support for pregnant and parenting women with a history of problematic substance use. If our centre doesnt offer a particular service you need, we can help to connect you to community resources that will support you.As a not-for-profit, community-based organization, we work in partnership with other healthcare and community organizations to ensure residents of Belleville and Quinte West have access to the right mix programs and services to meet the communitys unique needs. As those change, our services evolve to meet them.As part of an inter-disciplinary team nurses provide clinical care and clinical administrative functions to support the delivery of high-quality person-centred care to clients at all ages and stages of the life cycle with an emphasis on those who are high risk and/or are experiencing barriers to accessing services.Registered Practical Nurse in good standing in Province of OntarioCurrent registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and Professional Liability ProtectionExperience working effectively with communities and individuals who face barriers accessing traditional health care institutions; experience with clients with mental health and addictions preferredPrevious experience in a Primary Care setting preferredExperience with electronic health care records; experience using PS Suites an assetExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative, interdisciplinary team environmentProfessional, accountable, and focused on quality of careWithin the subject line of your email, please indicate the position title for which you are applying. #J-18808-Ljbffr
