The Inside Sales Intern focusing on account intelligence and market research supports the North American Biopharma Solentim commercial organization by building, validating, and maintaining highquality account and customer intelligence.The role is focused on workflow and account research, data analysis, CRM hygiene, and administrative sales support, enabling Account Managers and leadership to make informed, strategic decisions. The representative will be working with a highly collaborative commercial organization and will learn about technologies in cell line development, cell imaging, and titer assays in the biopharma industry. Its a nonselling role designed for a highly detailoriented intern interested in life sciences, biopharma, market research, and sales operations. The successful candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and timemanagement skills. They will be selfmotivated, energetic, charismatic, intuitive, and comfortable learning account and market information, in an extremely fastpaced environment. They will also have a high level of commitment and initiative, a desire to make a difference, and be a proven team player. What Youll Do Account & Customer Intelligence Conduct indepth research on biopharma accounts, including: Company background, size, focus areas, and pipeline Drug portfolios, therapeutic areas, and development stages Funding status, acquisitions, mergers or bankruptcies Site locations and operational footprint Identify obsolete, inactive, closed or otherwise irrelevant accounts and flag them for cleanup Map key stakeholders, decisionmakers and influencers within target organizations Market & Drug Research Support market research initiatives related to biopharma trends, therapeutic focus areas, and customer segments Assist with druglevel research to contextualize accounts and understand customer usage of Nova Biomedical solutions Compile research findings into concise summaries for Account Managers and leadership CRM Data Management & Cleanup Audit and validate CRM data to ensure accuracy and completeness Clean up outdated, duplicate or incomplete account and contact records Add missing company, contact and site information where available Ensure proper account hierarchies and naming conventions are followed Sales & Account Manager Support Partner with Account Managers to research missing contact or account detail Identify additional sites or contacts within existing accounts Prepare background information ahead of meetings or account planning sessions Provide administrative and operational sales support as needed General Administrative & Team Support Assist with data analysis, reporting and internal documentation Support adhoc projects related to account planning, territory optimization or portfolio expansion Collaborate crossfunctionally with Inside Sales, Marketing and Sales Operations Professional Contribution Represent Nova Biomedical professionally with customers, peers and internal stakeholders Participate in regional, national or virtual trade shows, webinars and customer events as requested Contribute to a positive, highperformance sales culture through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement What We Are Looking For In You Strong research and analytical skills with high attention to detail Comfortable working with CRM systems, spreadsheets and large datasets Interest in biopharmaceutical companies, drugs and lifescience markets Strong organizational and administrative skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Clear written and verbal communication skills Degree in Sciences, Business, preferably Life Sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred location: Quebec or Ontario Physical Requirements For This Role Typical remote office environment Must be able to use basic office equipment: computer, printer, copier, telephone, etc. Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time Must be able to communicate with stakeholders through various means Why Work for Nova Biomedical Summer Intern programs including lunch and learns, networking, and professional and social development Although interns and coops are not eligible for Nova''s fulltime benefits program, they are eligible to earn sick time and can enroll in certain voluntary benefits Work Location: Canada/Quebec, Ontario Targeted Salary Range: $15 $22 CAD/hour Working Hours: 9:00AM 5:00PM EEO Statement: Nova Biomedical takes pride in being an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
