Position: FullTime Security Shift Lead Brockville General Hospital Site: Brockville General Hospital 75 Charles St. Hours: Continental Rotation 07001900 / 19000700 Payrate: $22.74/hour Overtime Method: ONAveraging Agreement OT over 88 hours Internal Posting Date: March 4, 2025 Internal Closing Date: March 10, 2026 External Closing Date: April 30, 2026 Job Responsibilities Ability to work in a fastpaced and flexible environment while maintaining the utmost professionalism Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, and customerservice orientation Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures Complete consistent patrols of the interior and exterior of site Perform patient watches Complete incident reporting and endofshift reports Supervise and monitor guests, staff, and patients to ensure a proactive approach to incidents Qualifications Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate (from a WSIBapproved provider) Ability to be cleanshaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test Proof of COVID19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination) A copy of your immunization records [Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella, Hepatitis B, and TB Skin Tests Step 1 & 2] Steps to get your immunization records: Immunization Forms will be provided to shortlisted candidates Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding) Minimum 3 years security experience required, or 1 year of demonstrated Security Supervision experience Demonstrates superior customer service skills and able to work independently Fluency in English (verbal/written) required.
