CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for the position of Supply Chain Operator/Forklift Driver (Warehouse) located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The available shift for this role is from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is a permanent and full-time position offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate leadership ability and forklift driving expertise in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation, reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor. Responsibilities Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Supervisor, the operator conducts daily operations in the Supply Chain Department and may be trained in the five operational rate positions as skill and ability are gained. Assist with loading and unloading of all products to and from rail cars, trucks and vans. Assist in the implementation of CGC/USG Model Programs, Safety Rules, VWIs/JSAs, and Standard Operating Procedures. Qualifications Able to work safely in a warehouse setting and follow all plant safety rules and practices. Maintain a high standard for housekeeping within the work area. Computer skills needed for data entry. Read and complete documented inspection procedures. Follow instructions on printed work orders to complete assigned tasks. Computer skills preferred to review or revise documents in Microsoft Office Programs. Navigate Microsoft Outlook for work related email. Ability to learn to operate various types of mobile equipment. Good communication skills needed with all co-workers. Recognize unsafe conditions or hazards within work area. Demonstrate ability to cooperate with co-workers and understand the importance of completing assigned tasks safely and efficiently and with quality.
