About You: The Vice President of Finance oversees all financial matters for the organization and serves as a strategic and operational partner to the executive leadership team. The role is responsible for financial stewardship, performance management, and providing forwardlooking financial insight to support profitable growth, disciplined capital deployment, and effective decision making across the business. In addition to overseeing accounting, reporting, and compliance, the VP of Finance plays a key leadership role in profit forecasting, pricing and profitability analysis, external financing support, and capital planning. The role provides financial guidance and influence across the organization while mentoring and developing a growing finance team. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Provide overall financial leadership and stewardship for the organization, ensuring strong controls, compliance, and risk management across all business entities Serve as a strategic finance partner to the executive team, delivering forwardlooking insight to support decision making, profitable growth, and disciplined capital deployment Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and profit forecasting, coaching and mentoring the Director of FP&A and continuously strengthening forecasting rigor and insight Provide financial guidance and influence on pricing, margin management, product and customer profitability, and efficiency initiatives, including analysis related to SKU rationalization Proactively manage liquidity, capital planning, and financial covenant headroom, ensuring clear visibility into financial capacity under various performance scenarios Support external financing activities, including lender reporting, covenant compliance, and participation in refinancing discussions in partnership with the CFOli> Oversee the successful implementation of Sage X3, ensuring finance requirements, data integrity, controls, and adoption are achieved Lead, coach, and develop a highperforming finance organization, strengthening capability and preparing the function to scale with continued growth Strategic finance leader with strong commercial judgment and the ability to influence business decisions without formal authority Advanced capability in forecasting, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and translating complex financial information into clear business implications Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, cost drivers, margin structure, and cash flow dynamics Experience supporting external financing arrangements, including covenant modeling, reporting, and refinancing support Proven people leader with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams in a growing organization Handson, pragmatic, and improvementoriented, with the ability to balance rigor with speed in a dynamic environment Education Requirements: Experience: Minimum eight (8) years in a Finance/Accounting role with P&L and Balance Sheet ownership Proven capability to manage, grow and develop teams Install efficient technology and tools to help the finance team do its best work Experience with an industrial/manufacturing company Demonstrated experience overseeing profit forecasting in a manufacturing or consumer products environment, including collaboration with FP&A leaders Experience providing analytical support for pricing, profitability, and efficiency initiatives, including SKU or portfolio rationalization Experience working with banks or external lenders, including proactive covenant monitoring and support for refinancing or amended facilities Experience overseeing ERP or major finance systems implementations, preferably in a manufacturing context Why join The Crump Group?
