Lead the commissioning, and launch of AMR systems for inplant material flow. Partner with crossfunctional teams (Controls, IT, Safety, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering) to plan and integrate AMR/AGV systems into facility operations. Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance AMR throughput, uptime, fleet behavior, and system robustness. Lead/Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, readiness evaluations, and commissioning processes. Troubleshoot system communication issues in conjunction with maintenance team. Work with production operators, teams, and Material Handling to improve workstation material delivery and presentation. Work with SMART SMF Coordinator to ensure proper system setup. Audit AMR performance. QUALIFICATIONS Youll have: Education Bachelors degree in engineering, technology, mechatronics, material flow or a related field. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.) Experience Experience working with material flow and deploying automation or robotics systems in a manufacturing environment. Experience with industrial robotics, AMR/AGV platforms, PLC communications. Even better, you may have... Education Masters degree in engineering, technology, mechatronics, material flow or a related field. Experience 25 years of experience working with material flow and deploying automation or robotics systems in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards related to AMR/AGV technologies. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office Suite. This posting is for an existing vacancy within our team. The expected annual salary range for this Ford of Canada position is $63,000.00$107,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
