Overview As the General Manager, you are accountable to ensure that our YEG Fueling operations are operated safely and efficiently in line with service level standards set for Safety, Financial Performance, Operational Performance, and People Development with a relentless focus on safe and efficient operations. You will lead and direct a team of senior managers, fostering a collaborative and highperforming culture within the Menzies Aviation YEG Fueling organization. You will influence and facilitate the consistent delivery of an Excellence from takeoff to touchdown experience to our customers. Main Accountabilities SAFETY LEADERSHIP: Encourage and sustain a safetyfirst culture in YEG through effective leadership and coaching of Station Managers, IntoPlane Managers, Tank Farm Managers, and Safety Managers. Partner with HSE to live the 10 Golden Rules. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Consult with General Managers to develop and steward annual Operating and Capital Budgets. Provide Safety, Financial, Operational and People Development updates to the SVP, customers and stakeholders. OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP: Accountable for safe and efficient fueling operations at YEG. Provide updates to the SVP regarding issues and initiatives and investigate flight delays to implement corrective action plans. PEOPLE & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: Develop a highperformance learning organization, target capability development plans, mentor future highpotential employees and steward succession plans. OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE: Lead a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and improvement by creating an environment for sharing best practices and implementing processes designed to deliver bestinclass results. RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Effectively manage relationships with Menzies employees, customers and stakeholders. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Manage a variety of stakeholders including Airport Authorities, Airlines, Fuel Suppliers, Government Agencies, and Environmental Regulators. COMPLIANCE: Ensure safe and compliant operations of the Stations through cooperation with Environmental, Legal and Policy Departments. Qualifications And Experience A strong track record as a manager and people leader with 10+ years of experience. Safety leadership experience in a safetysensitive environment with 10+ years of experience. Experience in managing business units with full P&L accountability and planning/performance for 10+ years. Strong knowledge of bulk liquid storage and distribution with 10+ years of experience. Experience in fuel scheduling, supply, logistics and inventory control. Excellent communication skills to understand and manage stakeholder demands. Commercial literacy and experience working with accounting and legal teams. Strong stakeholder communication track record both inside and outside the organization. Strong organizational and project management skills.
