Role Description This is a 4-month contract with the intention of becoming a full-time remote Research Assistant role. The Research Assistant will support research projects by conducting literature reviews, gathering and analyzing qualitative or quantitative data, and assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations. Additional tasks may include contributing to survey design, managing datasets, performing data analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of research outputs. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders will be a pivotal part of this role. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Research and Analytical Skills Effective Communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with teams Experience with Data Analysis and the ability to interpret and visualize data Basic Laboratory Skills or familiarity with tools for social or economic data collection is a plus Attention to detail, critical-thinking skills, and a commitment to producing accurate results Prior experience in public policy, social research, or economic advisory is an advantage A bachelors or masters degree in economics, sociology, public policy, or a related field
