Jasper Rafting Adventures - Operations General Manager, Alberta Jasper Rafting Adventures is seeking an experienced Operations General Manager to oversee all operational activities at our Jasper, AB location. Compensation: $70,000$90,000 per year (base salary) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (3050 hours per week) Location: Jasper, AB. Benefits: Housing allowance, onsite housing options, recreation and activities, team building opportunities, flexible or compressed work week. Key Responsibilities: - Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs. - Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs. - Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate authority and create optimum working conditions. - Ensure safety and comfort of passengers and supervise more than 20 staff members. - Maintain inventory control (software), Excel, MS Office, reservation software. - Manage operational budgets ($1,500,001$4,000,000). - Drive customer experience for rafting and other outdoor adventures. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Education, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in entrepreneurial and small business operations, hospitality administration/management, or tourism promotion operations. - Valid drivers licence, criminal record check, and willingness to travel. - Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, reservation software, and inventory control systems. - Strong leadership, initiative, and teamplayer skills. - Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
