Job Category: Education, Childcare & Training,Health, Medical & Pharmaceutical Permanent, Full-Time 75 hours per fortnight rostered over 7 days Hastings In this role you will: - Ensure all Instructors are appropriately qualified and maintain ongoing professional development and certification. - Mentor Instructors to support best practice, continuous improvement, and an effective, engaging training environment. - Support the Manager Training and National Manager Training Operations with assigned projects and tasks. - Ensure you and your team comply with TQMS, operational guidelines, and policies. - Oversee quarterly performance reviews to maintain and improve team and individual performance. - Take proactive actions to protect the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of yourself and others. - Foster a peoplefirst culture by leading, coaching, communicating effectively, and addressing peoplerelated issues early This role may require travel within the Hawkes Bay region To be successful you will have: - Knowledge in either or both: - a training, education or another similarly related context - a background in first aid or experience in the health or emergency services sector - A basic understanding of how not for profit and/or volunteer organisations function. - Empathy with humanitarian causes. - An understanding and respect towards people from other nations, cultures and a commitment to respecting diversity. - Experience in delivery of first aid or first responder environment is an advantage. - Qualified as a Level 2 First Aid Instructor would be beneficial. - Proven human resource management skills, including the ability to influence and manage through strong leadership skills, coaching, training and development. - A well-organised approach and commitment to quality training. - Highly effective communication skills.
