The shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with overtime and weekends as needed. Wage: $40.00 - 43.00 per hour * Monday through Friday schedule * Competitive wages * Benefits package * Tool and boot allowance * Rewarding and positive work environment * Ongoing training and development * Opportunity for advancement * Employee recognition programs Key Responsibilities The Mechanic is responsible for servicing/repairing company buses in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. * Ongoing maintenance/repair of buses * Diagnose equipment problems * Brake and Safety Inspections * Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs * Respond to breakdowns * Spring and winter maintenance Requirements * Licensed Mechanic 310T * Safety Inspection License * Experience working with Fleet Management Systems is considered an asset * Analytical and troubleshooting skills * Own hand tools * Valid drivers license * Fluent in written and spoken English * Computer and diagnostic equipment skills * Ability to work independently * Strong time management skills and well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal) This posting is for an existing vacancy.
