Job Title

This role is responsible for leading an afternoon shift within a fast-paced distribution centre. Youll oversee daily operations, ensure health and safety standards are met, manage inventory accuracy, and support a team to deliver strong performance across productivity, quality, and service. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a warehouse team during shift operations Drive a strong health and safety culture, including root cause analysis and corrective actions Monitor productivity, order quality, and compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) Manage shift reporting using WMS and Microsoft Office tools to track performance and identify improvements Run shift start-up meetings, manage schedules, and provide coaching and performance feedback Maintain strong labour relations in a unionized environment and address employee concerns in a timely, solutions-focused way Ensure all SOPs and operational standards are followed consistently Support budgeting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives Partner cross-functionally and ensure smooth shift handovers Key Qualifications Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 8+ years of experience leading warehouse teams, ideally in a unionized environment Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety standards, and material handling practices Solid communication and leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience with WMS systems, SAP (or similar), and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint) Whats offered Competitive base salary Performance-based bonus 4 weeks vacation Full benefits starting day one Pension with employer match Tuition reimbursement Learning and development opportunities Internal career growth opportunities The salary range for this role is $75K-$85K.
