As a rapidly growing CPG food company, we operate with world-class manufacturing and food safety standards aligned with GFSI-recognized programs.We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end flow of product from suppliers to production, through distribution, and ultimately to customers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, food safety compliance, and scalable infrastructure to support company growth.Position OverviewThe Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing Mitsohs integrated supply chain across procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, third-party warehousing, and customer order fulfillment. The role works closely with operations, quality assurance, finance, and sales to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Planning & ForecastingLead demand planning and forecasting based on sales projections, promotions, and growth plansCoordinate Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes with sales, operations, and finance teamsEstablish appropriate safety stock levels and service targets to maintain product availabilityProcurement & Vendor ManagementManage sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, packaging materials, and indirect suppliesLead supplier selection processes including RFPs, negotiations, and contract managementMaintain supplier relationships and performance tracking for quality, reliability, and cost efficiencyCost Management & Supply Chain EconomicsMonitor and manage cost of goods (COGS) across raw materials, packaging, freight, and logisticsIdentify cost optimization opportunities through supplier negotiations and process improvementsSupport finance and leadership with supply chain cost analysis and margin improvement initiativesProduction Planning & Inventory ManagementCollaborate with production teams to align purchasing and inventory with production schedulesMaintain accurate item master data and SKU management within ERP systemsOversee inventory control, adjustments, shelf-life monitoring, and stock rotationLogistics, Freight & DistributionManage inbound and outbound freight operations and transportation partnersOptimize shipping strategies to balance service levels and transportation costsEnsure reliable delivery performance across all customer channels3PL Warehouse ManagementManage relationships and performance of third-party logistics (3PL) providersMonitor warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and storage practicesCoordinate inventory transfers, audits, and warehouse process improvementsCustomer Order Fulfillment & ServiceOversee the order management process from order entry through shipment and deliveryCoordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order processingManage service metrics such as order accuracy, fill rate, and on-time deliveryCompliance, Traceability & Food SafetyEnsure supply chain activities align with GFSI-recognized standards such as BRCGS, SQF, or equivalentMaintain traceability systems for raw materials, packaging, and finished goodsSupport quality teams in supplier compliance, documentation, and recall readinessSystems & Continuous ImprovementManage supply chain workflows within ERP and inventory management systemsEnsure accurate data governance including item masters and inventory reportingLead process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and supply chain visibilityRisk Management & Supply ContinuityDevelop contingency plans and secondary suppliers for key ingredients and packagingMonitor potential supply chain disruptions and proactively mitigate risksMaintain continuity planning for critical supply inputsQualificationsBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field58+ years of experience in supply chain management within a CPG food or beverage companyExperience operating within GFSI-certified environments (BRCGS, SQF, FSSC 22000, or equivalent)Experience managing procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics functionsExperience working with third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses and transportation partnersFamiliarity with ERP systems and inventory management softwareProfessional certifications such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or SCMP are considered an assetCore CompetenciesStrategic supply chain planning and forecastingVendor negotiation and supplier managementInventory optimization and demand planningLogistics and transportation coordinationCross-functional collaborationAnalytical and financial acumenProcess improvement and operational scalingAdditional InformationThis role may require occasional travel to suppliers, manufacturing partners, or warehouse facilities.
