We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join a premier integrated branding agency. In this role, you will work within a passionate, dynamic digital team to help re-imagine the digital journey for a diverse portfolio of iconic North American and global brands, with a particular focus on the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. This is a unique opportunity for a creative storyteller who thrives on connecting brands with consumers through innovative social strategies. As a key contributor, you will own the full spectrum of social mediafrom high-level strategy and ideation to hands-on execution and detailed analytics. Duration: 1618 month contract (maternity leave coverage) starting in April 2026. Location: Hybrid flexibility with 3 days onsite in Mississauga and 2 days remote, with parking available. Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, plus paid vacation, and eligibility for overtime. Responsibilities Strategy & Ideation: Collaborate with internal and client teams to develop organic social strategies and campaigns that meet specific business objectives. Content Management: Manage annual social calendars and oversee posting across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Community & Influencer Engagement: Develop community management strategies, foster positive online sentiment, and manage influencer partnerships from sourcing and negotiation to briefing and reporting. Copywriting: Craft compelling social copy across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with brand tone and audience expectations. Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, community growth, and sentiment; provide actionable insights to shape future strategies. Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a steward for client brands, ensuring all content fits their unique style and voice while supporting internal social media policies and listening requirements. Requirements Agency Experience: Proven experience in multi-platform social media management within an agency environment (Branding, Creative, PR, or Communications). Platform Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the current social landscape, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Education: A degree or diploma in Communications, PR, Digital Marketing, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of training and hands-on experience). Technical Skills: Proficiency with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or HeyOrca! Communication: Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice across various brand identities. Project Management: Strong ability to multi-task, make critical decisions, and manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced setting.
