An Initial AI Screening will be conducted for this role Contract duration: 04/06/2026 to 10/31/2026 Typical Day in Role Reporting to the Director, Data Loss Prevention Program Lead, the IT Business Analyst will work directly with the Program Lead and the Cyber Security Operations Portfolio Leadership team. This role will focus on creating documentation that will assist in the execution and operational success of this program. In addition, the IT Business Analyst will develop compelling and visually engaging content for PowerPoint presentations, and program initiatives within the cybersecurity domain. The ideal candidate will combine strong communication and writing skills with a solid understanding of cybersecurity or technology concepts. Accountabilities Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements to support the design and development of information security systems. Ensure these requirements are clear, comprehensive, actionable, and fully aligned with business needs. Work cross functionally with cybersecurity, security engineering, security architecture and infrastructure teams to translate technical concepts into clear requirements. Recommend enhancements to cyber processes, procedures and standards. Contribute to the definition of risk appetite, security risk thresholds, and the establishment of key performance and risk indicators (KPIs/KRIs). Develop and/or enhance weekly security and operational reports. Create high-quality, visually appealing PowerPoint presentations to support cybersecurity operations and executive reporting. Produce clear and structured documentation that supports the execution and delivery of cybersecurity programs. Document both current and future state security roadmap plans, ensuring alignment with established requirements. Must have skills 5+ years of experience as IT Business Analyst or relevant experience. 5+ years of recent experience in cybersecurity concepts including control objectives, metrics (KPIs/KRIs) and general threat landscape. 5+ years of experience with documenting security requirements, processes, procedures, and standards. 5+ years of experience in developing cybersecurity reports, effectively communicating issues or obstacles, and thoroughly documenting associated risks. Nice to have Prior experience in Financial Services. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Experience in security best practices standards (ISO, NIST, COBIT), controls function, audit and risk management. Soft Skills Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficient at collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve the objectives assigned. Ability to work both independently and within the team. Education Bachelor (equivalent or higher) degree or relevant experience. Certification in technical information security disciplines such as CISM, CISSP and other industry standard Cyber Security technical evaluation is highly desirable.
