Reporting into the DVP of Total Rewards, HR Operations and Systems, this individual will have responsibility for managing the delivery of effective full employee cycle HR Services. They will also ensure continuous improvement of HR processes and Systems (including Workday) and ensure that service levels, standard operating procedures and business processes are in place. You will play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving our HRIS, working closely with different stakeholders to ensure that the system continues to service the organization''''s needs. In addition, this individual will lead an HR Services team, ensuring a customer centric approach. What youll be doing: Lead processes for our end-to-end employee lifecycle and help develop solutions that enhance our overall employee experience. Support the integration of digital HRIS solutions to strengthen employee experience, engagement, and organization effectiveness. Provide subject matter expertise and work with business leaders to ensure processes are clear, followed, improved, or updated where need be. Develop and lead the bilingual HR Helpdesk team to deliver on employee life cycle activities (hiring, onboarding, leaves, creating offer letters, termination letters and actions, job changes, pay changes, system updates etc.) Seek ways to continually improve on the support we provide to the business along with delivering day to day sometimes urgent responses and actions. Work collaboratively with the People Team leaders to support strategic short and long-term goals while building a trusted, collaborative, and supportive team approach. Ensure user adoption and Self-Service mindset by creating communication, correspondence and learning material associated with HRIS adoption and optimization. Subject matter expert and owner of HRIS system, HR policies and procedures including updating, maintaining, creating, posting, and managing annual review and sign off for all People Team policies. Ensures compliance with other teams in policy standards and adherence to Federal and Provincial employment legislation. Collaborates closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Total Rewards team supporting program administration tasks, cyclical execution of activities, reporting and communication. Responsible for the integrity, reporting and maintenance of employee data, privacy standards, cyber controls and working with internal audit teams to ensure compliance. Identify opportunities to continuously improve the overall operations of the People team from a process and technology lens. This can include automation, process/system efficiencies, knowledge management to elevate the overall employee experience. Work with internal IT partners to further develop and improve HRIS capabilities and system implementation. Participate in special projects for the People Team as required. The ideal candidate: 5+ years of experience leading a human resources team in an HR Administration and/or Operations. Digitally-savvy, with experience embracing technology and best use of data 3-5 years functional Workday HRIS experience Experience with workday configuration and user adoption considered an asset. Solid understanding of HR standards, practices, and procedures with proven experience in process improvement and standards elevation. Strong analytical mind; demonstrated critical thinking with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
