I am thrilled to announce a collaborative recruitment initiative with my client Bombay Hair. Bombay Hair is a leading Canadian beauty brand specializing in premium 100% human hair extensions and professional-grade styling tools. The Sales Director is the primary commercial driver for Bombay Hair, responsible for all revenue-generating activity across direct-to-consumer (DTC), wholesale, professional salon, and strategic partnership channels. This role owns the entire sales function end-to-end: strategy, execution, forecasting, relationship management, and market expansion. It suits a highly autonomous, commercially sharp leader who understands both the professional hair industry and modern BTB and DTC growth levers. Core Responsibilities Build and execute a multi-channel sales strategy covering DTC, wholesale, salon-professional, distributor, and retail channels. Develop annual and quarterly revenue plans with clear growth targets across each channel. Identify new opportunities in emerging markets, influencer-driven partnerships, and professional networks. Own DTC revenue performance across the Canadian and international e-commerce markets. Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, and Creative teams to optimise online promotions,product launches, bundles, and seasonal campaigns. Analyse customer behavior, conversion trends, and product performance to drive continuous improvement. Leverage influencer partnerships, affiliate programs, and social commerce to scale online sales. Personally manage all key accounts, distributors, salons, and retail partners. Lead all negotiations, commercial terms, and contract agreements. Conduct proactive outreach and relationship-building to expand the brands professional footprint. Grow presence within salons, academies, beauty schools, and professional education networks. Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and professional activations. Monitor competitor activity, market shifts, and customer insights to inform strategy. Own forecasting, budgeting, and sales reporting with high accuracy across all channels. Partner with Supply Chain to ensure stock availability and demand planning for both DTC and wholesale. Provide structured feedback to Product Development on trends, customer needs, and innovation opportunities. Required Experience and Skills 5+ years in a senior sales role within the hair, beauty, or premium consumer goods sector. Proven success managing and growing DTC e-commerce revenue. Strong experience with salons, distributors, and retail partners. Familiarity with hair extensions, professional tools, and salon operations is a strong advantage. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability. Highly self-driven, organised, and comfortable owning the entire sales function independently. Analytical mindset with strong forecasting and planning ability. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Entrepreneurial approach suited to a fast-growing, digitally led brand.
