Join Canada''''s largest IT Company as a Senior Mainframe Developer, in our Financial Services Sector in Toronto. Location - Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 4 days office and 1 day remote) As a Senior Developer, you will be working in a development and support capacity on our core mainframe cards and transactions system. The core application is a large, sophisticated mainframe-based system which connects RBC clients to their banking products and services. This 24/7 application supports critical delivery channels such as Online Banking, POS, ATM and others. Future duties and responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, support and evolve software to deliver banking services. Lead conversion, attestation and audit initiatives Manage individual priorities, deadlines and deliverables. Assess and analyze business and technical requirements in order to provide estimates and establish plans and timelines Create, update and contribute to critical documentation relevant to the projects Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members and various IT partners Available for after-hours production support when needed (rare) Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Must-have Completion of a postsecondary education Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) Strong background in software development especially mainframe Expertise in COBOL, JCL, IMS (DB/Online/Batch), DB2, MQSeries, Git/Endevor and Zeke Nice-to-have Understanding/usage of z/OS Connect, IDz, zUnit and test automation Experience with CI/CD mainframe pipeline Familiarity with Java Cloud development CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role: $95,000$145,000.
