Work Schedule Weekend Shift: Friday Sunday; 6:00 am6:00 pm (36 hrs per week). Compensation The estimated hourly base pay rate is $32.5. This position is entitled to a $2.5 shift premium per hour. This position may also be eligible for S&Cs annual incentive plan (AIP). AIP amounts are variable and depend on company and team performance, with a target bonus percentage of 4% of annual base earnings. Key Responsibilities Setup, adjust, program and operate CNC machine(s) according to work orders and specifications. Monitor machine operation and perform troubleshooting tactics when necessary. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or study sample parts to determine machining operations. Manufacture and inspect parts in accordance with quality standards and target plans and verify correct run quantities. Perform basic routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure longevity and quality fabrication, including cleaning and reporting mechanical/electrical issues to department leaders. Utilize an overhead crane and other material handling equipment to safely position materials for machining. Complete first piece inspection of parts using various measurement tools, confirming pieces are the correct material, quality, and specifications before beginning the machining process. Maintain accurate records of fabrication activities, including tracking the progress of job orders and documenting corrective action needed for the machine, part, or process. Deburr metal parts using hand and/or power tools, ensuring materials are safe to handle and are ready for further processing. Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards. Understand and comply with all applicable company policies and rules. What Youll Need To Succeed 1+ year of demonstrated experience with the setup and operation of manual and computercontrolled machine shop equipment. Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as scales and calipers. Good knowledge of machine controls and programs with the ability to set up machines to operate new jobs to specific specifications. Ability to read blueprints. Ability to work independently and meet requirements of assigned material requests. Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate information efficiently and effectively to team members in a variety of production support departments. Basic computer skills with the ability to review and respond to requests via internal applications. Basic math skills with the ability to calculate quantities, weights, and measurements. Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand and complete requests given by team members inside and outside of the department. Ability and willingness to follow Health Safety & Environment procedures accurately, reporting concerns promptly to the safety action team. Physical Demands Standing: All tasks are performed while standing with intermittent walking. Lifting: Frequent lifting of items ranging from 5lb to 20lb. Walking: Occasional walking moderate distances (
