In this role, you will be responsible for forming an integral part of LACs commitment to sustainability as it increases the Companys capacity to monitor, measure and report on our sustainability commitments. You will be working collaboratively across teams from Corporate and site, as well as stakeholders, both internally and externally. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization committed to innovation, sustainability, and leadership in the clean energy sector.The role is based at our Vancouver, BC office and reports to the Senior Analyst, Investor Relations and ESG, and work closely with the Vice President, Investor Relations and ESG. Occasional travel to other LAC offices, project sites, or vendor locations may be required.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the coordination, production and distribution of LACs 2024 ESG-S Report including:Support the project management of the reporting processEnsure alignment with reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB and TCFDDevelop communications plan and social media campaign for the publication and distribution of the reportAssist in analyzing sustainability data for use in internal and external reportsSupport key initiatives and conduct ad hoc research into ESG-related issues, including external ESG developments, peer actions, industry best practices and trendsAssist in investor relation activities such as tracking market reactions and shareholder analysisAssist in managing and coordinating investor relations events, including conferences and Thacker Pass site toursAssist with project management of website redesign, assist with copywriting, editing and design, while ensuring the project is completed on time and on budgetConduct shareholder analysis to support investor relations reportingSupport with ad hoc projects as requiredBuilds and maintains trusted relationships across all teams while championing a culture that reflects and supports our Purpose, Vision, and ValuesPerform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in business, economics, sustainability, communications or other business-related fieldsInterest in the industry with a passion for ESG and social issues, and a belief in the importance of corporate actions to drive positive changeAttention to detail and strong research and analytical skillsStrong written, verbal communication and presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft suite especially ExcelDetail oriented with the ability to multi-taskComfortable with ambiguity and changeAbility to work well both independently and in a teamPersonal commitment to Lithium Americas Purpose, Vision, and ValuesWorking at Lithium AmericasAt Lithium Americas, we believe our people are our most valuable asset.
