Join Our Team as a Supervisor - Internal Logistics - Day Shift! Work arrangement: Onsite (Day Shift - Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 3:00pm) Compensation At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members and are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $79,980 - $105,978.8. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, jobrelated skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This position may also be eligible for S&Cs annual incentive plan (AIP). AIP amounts are variable and are dependent on both company and individual performance, subject to eligibility criteria. The target bonus percentage for this role is 10% of annual base earnings. Key Responsibilities Provide guidance and leadership to a team of material handlers on the day shift. Plan, schedule, and assign daily tasks to the team and set daytoday objectives to achieve operational targets. Ensure policies, procedures, practices are understood and followed. Manage work schedules to meet delivery objectives. Assist with defining staffing requirements and develop job descriptions and expectations where applicable. Initiate decisions related to hiring and performance management of team members, complete performance reviews. Assess training requirements to maintain a high quality of work. Implement continuous improvement initiatives on current systems and processes to solve reoccurring issues and improve on the effectiveness of the team. Make adjustments or enhancements to systems and processes to improve effectiveness of team. Work closely with supply chain teams to achieve objectives. Ensure safe practices are being followed and safe conditions exist in the work area. Minimum Requirements College diploma or equivalent experience. 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a manufacturing and logistics environment. Experience in work scheduling, resource allocation, priority planning and process execution towards meeting deadlines. Some experience with Microsoft Office and Excel. Certified on lift trucks including standup electric forklift for indoor use and the propane counterbalance forklifts for outdoor use. Knowledge of LPS including use of tools such as 5S, 4SPS, Kaizen, Gembas, etc is an asset. Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and responsibilities as a supervisor. Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Experience in scheduling, resource allocation, and priority planning toward deadlines. An understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution. Excellent attention to detail. Physical Effort Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the daytoday activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 40lbs. Work Environment Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events).
