Seeking a detail oriented General Accountant for a Canadian Manufacturer of garage door and entry door components, for a 3 month, on site temp assignment. This role supports day to day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth month end processes. Key Responsibilities Perform daily accounting tasks including posting journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining general ledger accuracy. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner. Assist with month end closings, accruals, and financial reporting. Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts. Support inventory cost accounting, variance tracking, and related reporting. Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and documentation for internal review or audit support. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (On site)Compensation: $25-$27/hourType: Temp 3 Months Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a General Accountant, Staff Accountant, or similar role. Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices. Proficiency with Sage accounting software (required). Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
