The decision on hiring will be based on previous teaching experience in this course or other similar courses, academic qualifications, ability, and suitability for the position. Relevant Criterion Previous experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience for this posted position. Duties Normal duties associated with teaching a university course, including preparation and delivery of course content, development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams, calculation and submission of grades, contact with students by regular office hours, and completion of all grades (may include makeup exams). This course will have inperson lectures and practical sessions, and the position will include supervision of the daytoday work of any Sessional Instructional Assistants or Teaching Assistants assigned to the course. Salary $9,820.70 for Sessional Lecturer I $10,510.04 for Sessional Lecturer I - Long Term $10,510.24 for Sessional Lecturer II $10,760.28 for Sessional Lecturer II - Long Term $10,760.28 for Sessional Lecturer III $11,030.36 for Sessional Lecturer III - Long Term Stipend rates are inclusive of vacation pay. Should the rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from the rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.
