About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 09TOTEM is the leader in providing major market makers in OTC derivatives with definitive consensus prices. The service is used by more than 100 banks, trading houses and other investment professionals as the key independent check of trading book valuations. It covers equity, rates, currency, commodity, credit and bond derivatives, providing comprehensive matrices of vanilla prices and a wide selection of exotic products.Responsibilities and Impact:Organizing and running daily and monthly processes for clients, reviewing and cleaning data, and handling simple and complex price challengesDriving process efficiencies and innovations, contributing to design and testing of existing systemsIdentifying and developing new Totem initiatives and the related commercial frameworkManaging and building client relationships providing an excellent level of serviceKeeping abreast of regulatory and market changes to identify new business opportunitiesWhat Were Looking For:Bachelors or Masters in a finance/quantitative discipline2-4 years experience in a similar roleStrong understanding of derivatives in one or more asset classesStrong knowledge of common office tools and software including Excel, PythonAppetite for providing services to external clients on a regular basisExposure to financial instruments, equity and rates products preferredMust be detail-oriented, thorough, and able to use own initiative to solve problemsMust have the ability to work well in a team ensuring that tasks are completed, and issues are followed up and closedExcellent time management and organizational skills are essentialSelf-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervisionFocused on delivery, quality, and timeliness, with strong attention to detail; flexible and willing to adapt to changing business requirementsAdditional Preferred Qualifications:Strong skills to communicate effectively with external clients and across business units within the company (email, phone, and face-to-face meetings)Clear, structured, and professional in both writing and speechAbility to work well under pressureAll employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office.
