OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse/assistant to join our healthcare team at Seva Medical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, ensuring that all medical protocols and standards are met. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care practices. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the recovery and well-being of patients.ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.Respond promptly to patient needs and provide compassionate support.Participate in continuous education and training to enhance nursing skills.Able to carry out lab blood work draws.Able to perform EKG or willing to learn.Able to administer injections.Knowledge with ability to assist provider with procedures such as suturing, I&D, casting, dressings.Comfort and knowledge with public health vaccines/immunizations as per schedule, catch up schedule etc.Comfort with providing care to all populations including pediatrics, adults, prenatal/OB, seniors.QualificationsValid nursing license in the state of practice.
