The capabilities of both Ekkinox affiliates cover the full logistics lifecycle, from warehousing and transportation to freight handling, packaging, kitting, and final shipment coordinationJOB DESCRIPTIONEkkinox is seeking an experienced Outbound Departure Coordinator to work in our terminal in Mississauga, ON. The role involves managing the highway drivers, planning schedules, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining service quality.RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTSProvide guidance and direction to highway drivers, single and team driversVerify equipment and driver availability at the start of the shiftResponsible for planning and upkeep of staffing for our customers weeklyResponsible for planning and vacation tracking of the driver groupResolve any customer complaints and special requests from central dispatchFollow up on the previous day's issues and develop action plans for improvement on service failures/missing KPI (on time departure)Monitor and provide employee evaluations to the operations managerPerform any other related tasks as assigned by the Operations managerMust have 2-3 years of experience in the transportation industry in dispatchingAS400 experience is an assetOFFER AND BENEFITSSalary between $65,000-$74,000Monday to Friday- start time 3 PM to 11:30 PMGroup insurance after 3 months of probationRRSP with Matching employer contributionAPPLY NOWReady to Move Your Career Forward with Ekkinox?
