The Opportunity / L'opportunit The Senior Operations Technologist supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations by providing advanced technical and operational process expertise, supporting planning for complex and highrisk work, and developing technician capability across Canada Gas Operations. Coach technicians in area/pipe outage leadership, preventative and corrective maintenance bundling, and competency development. Serve as SME for regionspecific technologies and provide design review support. Support the development of scopes and outage execution documentation for highrisk or complex pipe/area outages Supports Operations Technicians on major or complex projects. Support highrisk work readiness and SIMOPS coordination. Lead annual PSSR planning and mentor PSSR leads. Facilitate MOC initiation and identify required entries. Evaluate technicians performing highrisk tasks. Support sustainment of operational programs and work instructions. Strong preference given to those with multiple designations.
