Community Lead (Discord & Telegram) Full-time, Remote, Paid GoQuant Technologies Inc About Us GoQuant develops solutions that make life easier and more profitable for digital asset traders and researchers. We do so primarily by increasing transparency, boosting speed, and placing decisions in the hands of users. We currently offer two solutions: GoMarket and GoTrade. GoMarket is a subscription service that delivers low-latency digital asset data via WebSocket. Features include a unified querying language that allows users to easily bypass exchange-specific protocols to access data. GoTrade is a trade execution platform that allows clients to trade digital assetsusing multiple interfaces (Rest API, UI, WebSocket, Redis, etc.) to rapidly interact and trade with cryptocurrency exchanges. In addition, GoQuant is currently developing GoDark, a privacy-first digital asset trading protocol designed to address one of the most significant challenges in crypto markets: trading visibility. While traditional financial markets rely heavily on dark pools to enable institutional trading without revealing market intent, most crypto trading still occurs fully in the open. GoDark is designed to change that by enabling more private and efficient execution for digital asset traders. This is an exciting time for the GoQuant team as we onboard clients and rapidly build out our solutions to meet their needs. Job Description GoQuant is seeking an experienced and driven Community Lead to own and grow GoDarks Discord and Telegram communities from the ground up. This role will work closely with our marketing, product, and engineering teams to build a thriving community of retail traders, institutional partners, and crypto enthusiasts around GoDarks trading protocol. You will own every aspect of the community ecosystem from server architecture and bot configuration to engagement programming, moderation team management, growth strategy, and cross-platform coordination. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you will be the central voice connecting GoDarks users with the team building the product. You will play a critical role in driving awareness, engagement, and user acquisition for a new digital asset trading protocol being built by a rapidly growing fintech company. Responsibilities Server Architecture & Platform Management Design and manage the full Discord server structure including channels, roles, permissions, onboarding flows, and bot ecosystem Set up and manage the GoDark Telegram group with announcement channels, group chats, anti-spam configuration, and admin permissions Configure and maintain bot stacks across both platforms: moderation, token-gating, wallet verification, leveling/XP, welcome sequences, ticket systems, and analytics Design automated onboarding experiences that maximize join-to-verified conversion rates on both platforms Community Growth & Engagement Develop and execute growth playbooks for Discord and Telegram: invite campaigns, referral contests, collab partnerships, KOL programs, and cross-promotion with X/Twitter Run daily and weekly engagement programming: AMAs, trading competitions, meme contests, educational sessions, partner spotlights, and community challenges Design and run ambassador and OG programs that reward the most active and valuable community members Architect the full community conversion funnel: X follower Discord/Telegram join wallet verify community engagement GoDark platform signup Organize coordinated X engagement campaigns from Discord to boost GoDarks social presence Moderation & Security Recruit, train, and manage a moderation team across time zones to ensure 24/7 coverage on both platforms Implement comprehensive anti-scam and anti-raid protections: verification systems, anti-phishing bots, honeypot channels, DM protection, link filtering, and impersonation detection Develop and maintain crisis response playbooks for raids, FUD attacks, scam attempts, and security breaches Establish and enforce community guidelines while maintaining an open and engaging environment Analytics & Reporting Set up and maintain analytics dashboards tracking DAU/MAU, message volume, retention curves, conversion rates, and engagement metrics across both platforms Deliver weekly community reports to leadership covering growth, engagement, sentiment, moderation incidents, and upcoming programming Monitor community sentiment and flag emerging issues, FUD narratives, or opportunities early Cross-Platform & Strategic Support Coordinate with the marketing team to amplify X campaigns through Discord and Telegram Ensure consistent messaging, announcements, and branding across both platforms Identify and execute partnership opportunities with other crypto projects, DAOs, trading communities, and KOLs Serve as the voice of the community internally, funneling user feedback and feature requests to the product and engineering teams Success Factors We are looking for passionate, crypto-native community builders who thrive in fast-moving startup environments and understand the unique dynamics of web3 communities. Ownership & Initiative GoQuant is a startup where natural curiosity, resourcefulness, and individual capability thrive We need someone who can build from scratch and take full ownership Team Player We believe in building strong, talented teams You will collaborate with and learn from marketing, product, and engineering Security Mindset Crypto communities are high-value targets Security must be treated as foundational, not optional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years managing crypto/web3 Discord and Telegram communities with 5,000+ members Experience managing at least one community through a major launch event (TGE, mainnet launch, product launch) Deep hands-on experience with Discord bot configuration: Collab.Land, Guild.xyz, Carl-bot, MEE6, Dyno, Statbot, or equivalents Proven experience with Telegram group management: anti-spam bots (Combot, Rose, Shieldy), announcement channels, and regional group coordination Track record of recruiting, training, and managing a moderation team across multiple time zones Demonstrated ability to grow crypto communities through organic and strategic growth tactics Experience running AMAs, trading competitions, ambassador programs, and community events that drive measurable engagement Understanding of crypto trading concepts: dark pools, order books, liquidity, DEX vs CEX, on-chain vs off-chain is a strong plus Experience using analytics tools (Statbot, Discord Analytics) to track community health metrics and report to leadership Ability to create engaging written content for announcements, community updates, and educational posts Basic design skills (Canva or similar) for Discord banners, event graphics, and social assets is a plus Experience bridging community activity into X/Twitter campaigns and cross-platform user acquisition Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience working effectively in a remote, distributed environment A self-starter who can work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly Why Join GoQuant Work at the forefront of digital asset trading infrastructure Own and shape the community around a new privacy-first trading protocol Collaborate with a global team building advanced fintech solutions Opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a fast-growing startup environment Remote-friendly and flexible working environment Competitive compensation based on experience How to Apply If youre interested in this full-time position, please apply!
