DESCRIPTION SOMMAIRE DES TCHESTravaille en troite collaboration avec les dirigeantes, dirigeants, comits et syndicats. Prpare et rdige les textes relatifs la dfinition des conditions de travail (conventions collectives, protocoles dentente, etc.). Agit titre de porte-parole dun syndicat en ngociation, conciliation ou mdiation. Reprsente le syndicat dans des dossiers lis la sant et scurit, larbitrage de griefs ou de diffrends, aux premires conventions collectives, la mdiation ou aux audiences. Effectue les enqutes, prpare la preuve et plaide devant les tribunaux administratifs appropris ou agit comme assesseur syndical. Recherche linformation pertinente, la jurisprudence et la doctrine ncessaires la prparation des ngociations et des dossiers. Assure le dveloppement syndical et contribue la formation des membres; peut agir comme formatrice ou formateur au besoin. Collabore lorganisation de nouveaux syndicats et au renforcement des syndicats existants. Agit comme personne-ressource auprs des diffrentes parties prenantes et services. Conseille les syndicats et leurs membres sur les principales lois du travail. Produit des rapports et des analyses statistiques pour les syndicats, les secteurs ou lorganisation. This organization brings together a team of dedicated professionals who support numerous unions across both the public and private sectors. Representing a large and diverse workforce across multiple industries and regions, the organization is committed to meaningful work, collaboration, and strong working conditions. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with leadership teams, committees, and unions. Draft and prepare documents related to working conditions, including collective agreements and memoranda of understanding. Act as a spokesperson for unions during negotiations, conciliation, or mediation processes. Represent the union in matters related to occupational health and safety legislation, grievance arbitration, first collective agreements, preventive or pre-arbitration mediation, or hearings. Conduct investigations, prepare evidence, and plead cases before appropriate administrative tribunals, or act as a union assessor. Research and gather relevant information, case law, and doctrine to support negotiations and legal cases. Support union development and provide training to members; may act as a trainer when required. Contribute to the organization of new unions and strengthen existing ones. Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders and services. Advise unions and their members on key labour legislation. Produce reports and statistical analyses for unions, sectors, or the organization.
