Park Paving Ltd. has been locally-owned and operated for over 50 years and is one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around supporting senior department staff in areas of document control, job costing, and contract billing. Key responsibilities include: Preparing contract documents for execution/distribution (e.g. cover letters, bonding and insurance certificates, WCB clearance letters, etc.) - Monitoring and tracking the status of contract and subcontract documents as part of the execution process. - Maintaining the companys project/contract files by collecting and filing documents required for progress invoicing and subcontractor payment. - Preparing purchase orders, progress billing documents, and change order invoices for approval. Requirements: Must have strong proficiency with computers and common productivity software (e.g. Microsoft 365 Suite). - Must have an understanding of business administration, accounting fundamentals, or civil engineering technology. - Previous contract administration experience is an asset but not required. - Must have strong organizational and time management skills to execute a variety of tasks within tight deadlines and billing cycles. - Must have a strong attention to detail and numeracy.
