Hays.ca Job Reference: 1124102 Your new company You will be joining a privately-held Toronto-based property management and real estate holding company, responsible for operating and owning residential apartment rentals in the GTA. They oversee daytoday property management, leasing activities, and building maintenance requirements. Your new role You will be responsible for managing and maintaining an apartment community, to create a best-in-class experience, ensuring high level of service at all times. The Property Manager is also responsible for building and motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. You will be responsible for managing all onsite operations by overseeing staff, coordinating maintenance and capital projects, handling budgeting and reporting, supporting leasing and marketing efforts, controlling expenses, and ensuring company policies are being followed; working with the leasing team to meet targets, identifying opportunities to improve performance, and setting goals to strengthen overall team effectiveness. What youll need to succeed A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with postsecondary or a bachelors degree preferred, along with 35 years of property management experience and 23 years of financial experience in budgeting; candidates should have a background in supervising, leading, and developing teams, possess strong communication and customer service skills, be able to manage multiple priorities, and maintain a calm, steady demeanor; the role requires someone who is selfmotivated, curious, responsive, resultsdriven, computerliterate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, ideally experienced with Yardi software, and equipped with general office, bookkeeping, and sales skills.
