To learn more, please visit: WHAT YOULL DO As Associate General Counsel, you will play a key role in shaping the legal strategy as we continue to grow. You will partner closely with our businesses to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice across a wide range of areas, including commercial matters, disputes, and employment-related issues. You will support both day-to-day legal needs and more complex matters, including managing disputes, advising on workforce-related topics, and mitigating legal risk across the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES Draft, negotiate, and manage a range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, consulting agreements, and other business-critical contracts Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and ongoing business operations Assist in managing disputes and litigation matters, including coordinating with and overseeing outside counsel Provide guidance on employment-related matters, including policies, employee relations issues, and compliance Help develop workflows, templates, and policies to improve legal processes and reduce risk Support internal investigations and sensitive matters as needed Communicate with executive management and provide clear, actionable legal advice Stay up to date on relevant legal developments, including litigation trends and employment law changes WHAT YOULL BRING 25 years of experience as a licensed attorney (law firm or in-house) Bachelors degree and a Juris Doctorate degree from a U.S. or Canadian accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in a U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction. Broad legal experience with exposure to commercial, litigation, or employment matters Ideal candidates have experience across a mix of commercial, litigation, and/or employment law Ability to identify risk and provide practical, business-oriented solutions Strong communication and drafting skills Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities Comfort working with outside counsel on specialized matters, including disputes or employment issues
