Responsibilities : Assist with site servicing and pre-engineering design for private development and municipal infrastructure projects. Support the preparation of Functional Servicing Reports, stormwater management reports, and related technical documentation. Assist in the preparation of preliminary and detailed cost estimates for land development and municipal infrastructure projects through design and approval stages. Support the design of storm and sanitary sewer systems, watermains, grading, drainage, and stormwater management facilities for a variety of development projects. Prepare and update stormwater management models for projects of varying size and complexity under the guidance of senior staff. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare technical figures, drawings, and supporting documentation. Interpret engineering drawings, municipal standards, design criteria, and approval requirements with support from senior team members. Assist with coordination and communication with municipalities, conservation authorities, and other regulatory agencies throughout the design and approval process. Collaborate with senior staff, planners, and project team members to support efficient project delivery from concept through approval. Qualifications : A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited Canadian university. Eligibility for actively pursuing a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation through Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). Proficiency in stormwater management modeling tools (e.g., MIDUSS, SWMM, OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS). Ability to interpret Municipal/Development-related Engineering Drawings. Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with VBA and macros is considered an asset. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. A positive attitude, adaptability to changing priorities, and the ability to multitask effectively. A valid Class G Drivers License and access to a personal vehicle.
