In this exciting role you will: Order product, receive orders, check invoices, create displays, follow merchandising directives ensuring sufficient quality and fresh product availability. Assist and support in guiding, training and supervising employees. Act as a back up to the Manager, overseeing the departments operations in their absence. Rotate and stock tables and counters ensuring product meets our freshness and quality standards. Review product movement and promotions to ensure appropriate inventory are maintained. Ensure inventory levels contribute to a good in stock position and minimize waste. To solve any customer/employee complaints or problems while left in charge of the department. Ensure the safety and sanitation of the department meet company and legislative policies and standards. To perform other duties, as assigned. What Youll Need to Succeed: A solid focus on providing exceptional customer service. Previous experience working with produce in a retail environment Available to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, and weekends. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities. Previous leadership experience is required. Excellent organization, planning and communication skills.
