Job Title: User Experience Designer IV / Principal Visual Experience Designer Location: Toronto (Hybrid) Rate: Up to CAD 60/hr Duration: Contract Job Overview We are seeking a Principal Visual Experience Designer to help shape the next generation of user experiences across the Autodesk Forma Construction products . This role focuses on crafting high-quality, visually refined interfaces that bring clarity and consistency to complex enterprise software. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to design polished platform experiences for both web and mobile applications . Key Responsibilities Lead the visual design craft for key platform experiences within Autodesks Construction products. Design polished, high-quality UI interfaces that improve usability and product consistency. Help define and align core platform experiences such as Navigation and Project Home across web and mobile devices. Improve workflows in data management and administration tools within the platform. Clearly communicate and advocate for visual design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders. Contribute to design system standards and help simplify fragmented UI patterns across products. Work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and UX teams to deliver production-ready software. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Visual Design, Product Design, or UX/UI Design. Strong visual design craft , including typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and composition. Experience designing high-fidelity UI for complex software products . Experience designing mobile and responsive product interfaces . Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design rationale . Experience working with cross-functional product teams to ship software. A portfolio showcasing visually polished product interfaces . Preferred Qualifications Experience working with design systems or component libraries . Experience aligning multiple UI frameworks into a unified platform experience . Experience with enterprise SaaS products . Familiarity with construction, architecture, or engineering software (AEC) .
