Key Responsibilities As the Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and delivery of diverse projects. Your responsibilities will include: Develop detailed structural designs and perform calculations for a variety of projects, ensuring full compliance with applicable codes and standards. Utilize industry-leading engineering software to model and analyze structural components, contributing to efficient and safe design solutions. Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to seamlessly integrate structural systems into overall project designs. Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and site data to provide technical insight and support informed decision-making. Conduct site inspections and construction reviews to ensure alignment with design intent, safety standards, and quality expectations. Skills and Qualifications A bachelors degree in civil or Structural Engineering is required. A masters degree is considered an asset. 35 years of experience in structural design and engineering, preferably within construction or infrastructure environments. Proficiency in structural design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit. A strong understanding of local building codes, standards, and sustainable design practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
