Job Description

General Skills: Program Leadership: Proven experience leading large-scale EIM or enterprise digital transformation programs, including content services, records management, and information governance. End-to-End Ownership: Ability to own delivery from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment between vision, roadmap, and outcomes. Hands-On Delivery: Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and actively contribute to planning, execution, and problem-solvingnot just oversight. Digital Factory / Iterative Delivery: Experience delivering solutions using rapid prototyping, iterative development, and outcome-based validation. Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage relationships across executives, business units, legal/privacy, and technical teams. Technical Acumen (EIM): Solid understanding of EIM platforms (OpenText, SharePoint, M365, Purview), metadata models, taxonomy, and integration patterns. Information Governance Expertise: Deep understanding of records management, retention, legal hold, privacy, and compliance frameworks. Risk & Issue Management: Ability to proactively identify and mitigate delivery, data, and compliance risks. Change Management & Adoption: Experience driving organization-wide adoption of enterprise platforms and new ways of working. Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to navigate ambiguity and unblock delivery challenges quickly. Financial & Vendor Management: Experience managing budgets, vendors, SOWs, and deliverables tracking. Quality & Compliance Focus: Ensures solutions meet enterprise standards for security, privacy, and governance. Desirable Skills: EIM Platforms: Experience with OpenText Content Server, Extended ECM, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Purview or similar. AI & Automation: Exposure to AI-driven classification, intelligent document processing, and automation. Public Sector Experience: Understanding of public sector governance, procurement, and compliance frameworks. Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, AIIM, or equivalent. Enterprise Architecture: Knowledge of integration patterns (APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture). Data Governance: Understanding of data classification, privacy legislation, and security controls. Process Optimization: Experience in business process redesign and workflow automation. Agile / Hybrid Delivery: Experience delivering in Agile or hybrid environments. Integration Experience: Experience integrating EIM with ERP (D365), CRM, and line-of-business systems. Collaboration Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, SharePoint. Requirements Deliverables EIM Platform Implementation & Expansion Develop and execute the enterprise EIM roadmap and phased implementation plan. Configure and deploy platforms across business domains, including workspace and content model design. Enable integration with enterprise systems (e.g., D365, CRM, M365) and establish environment and release management approaches. Information Architecture & Governance Define enterprise taxonomy, metadata, and classification frameworks (manual and AI-enabled). Establish records retention, disposition, and legal hold processes. Implement a scalable information governance operating model aligned with compliance requirements. Content Migration & Digitization Lead migration from shared drives and legacy systems, including data mapping, transformation, and validation. Define digitization approaches (where applicable) and ensure post-migration readiness, quality, and user adoption. AI-Enabled Information Management Develop and implement AI-driven classification, tagging, and metadata extraction capabilities. Integrate AI tools (e.g., Copilot, OpenText Aviator) and establish governance controls, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement practices. Integration & Interoperability Define integration architecture, API standards, and data exchange patterns. Enable end-to-end document lifecycle integration across systems, supported by interface specifications, testing, and validation. Security, Privacy & Compliance Establish access control models (RBAC), conduct privacy impact assessments, and ensure compliance with records and privacy legislation. Implement audit, monitoring, and security testing practices aligned to enterprise standards. Adoption, Change Management & Training Develop stakeholder engagement and business readiness strategies. Deliver training and support materials, track adoption metrics, and establish feedback loops to continuously improve user experience and uptake. Digital Factory & Rapid Prototyping Enablement Establish intake processes for business use cases and enable rapid prototyping in governed environments. Define evaluation criteria for scaling solutions, supported by clear guardrails and repeatable delivery patterns. Technology Governance & Alignment Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture (EA), ARB, TRB, and PMO processes. Define EIM standards, governance structures, and compliance reporting. Align delivery to the broader Enterprise Technology and Data Strategy. Cross-Workstream Deliverables Program & Project Management Develop and maintain the integrated program plan, resource and capacity models, RAID logs, and executive reporting. Manage dependencies across initiatives and ensure alignment to delivery timelines. Financial & Vendor Management Oversee budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking. Manage vendor performance, contracts, and change requests, while tracking value realization and program outcomes. Quality Assurance & Testing Define and execute testing strategies, including data validation, performance testing, and defect management. Conduct post-implementation reviews to support continuous improvement. Transition, Operations & Knowledge Transfer Establish the operational support model, including SOPs and documentation. Lead handover to operations and business teams, ensure knowledge transfer from vendors, and maintain a continuous improvement roadmap. Must Haves: 7+ years experience leading complex EIM or enterprise transformation programs, with demonstrated success delivering platform implementations (e.g., OpenText, M365 ) and information governance capabilities Proven ability to operate as a hands-on delivery leader, managing multiple interdependent workstreams while actively driving execution, unblocking issues, and maintaining momentum Strong expertise in information governance, content lifecycle management, and compliance, with the ability to align solutions to privacy, security, and enterprise standards Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions
