Job Description

This position interacts with internal and external customers to provide information in response to inquiries. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in driving standards, simplification, and implementing process improvement initiatives to improve to-end Supplier Management. Reporting to P2P Manager, you will learn and support our business partners in goods not for resale areas of Finance. If you like working in a fast-paced business environment What youll do: Participate and lead in the development and implementation of projects, policies, and/or procedures, aimed at improving end to end Supplier Management Drive root cause analysis of inquiries, ensuring back-office accountability for effective resolution and consistent day-to-day operational excellence. Explore new ways of approaching business processes to inspire change and mitigate/eliminate potential inquires Support controls and governance models through documentation of new/updated process Partner strategically with Finance, Operations, and Business partners to deeply understand of business processes as they relate to financial processes and reporting Synthesize complex information from multiple internal and external sources/systems into clear, actionable explanations and plans for both internal business partners and back-office teams. Lead and facilitate key stakeholder, fostering strong relationship with Suppliers, internal business partners, and back office to drive collaborative solutions. Look at proactive metrics to detect and resolve issues with the P2P pipeline including, but not limited to, Purchase Cards process, Master Data, P&L lines, and data issues. Collaborate with internal business units and external suppliers to resolve inquiries and drive process improvement initiatives. Qualification: Bachelors Degree or Post-Secondary education in Business, Accounting, or Finance related subject areas or 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the retail food industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate and present information in a clear, concise format. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Previous working experience with SAP, VBA, and SQL is a significant advantage. Proficiency with SAP tools like Concur, Ariba, Fieldglass is an asset. Proven understanding of accounting and financial processes and experience with connecting dots between Finance and Business functions. Consistent record to plan, organizing, and prioritizing numerous tasks with conflicting priorities and consistently delivering on-time and accurate results. Excellent skills in relationship building and influencing skills to achieve results.
