Reporting to the Director, Innovation, youll play a missioncritical role in designing and developing robust embedded software architectures that power nextgeneration defence and aerospace systems. Youll work in a fastpaced, collaborative environment where software, hardware, and firmware intersect. This role is handson, technical, and integral to driving the highperformance computing solutions that define WOLFs reputation for excellence. As a Software Engineer at WOLF, you might Design and develop : Create highquality, reliable software architectures for embedded systems used in missioncritical applications Lead and deliver : Take ownership of software development projects, ensuring technical excellence and timely execution Collaborate and integrate : Work closely with hardware, firmware, and mechanical teams to achieve seamless system performance Document and define : Produce clear, detailed design descriptions, test plans, and requirement specifications to support engineering processes Refine and optimize : Streamline development workflows to enhance efficiency and product reliability Communicate and align : Share progress, insights, and technical direction across teams and with stakeholders Innovate and problemsolve : Apply C/C++, Python, and Linux expertise to develop advanced, lowlevel solutions Comply and uphold : Maintain strict adherence to WOLFs ESD, FOD, and industry quality standards To read the full position description, please click here. Your Edge You hold a bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field and bring 3+ years of experience in software development and embedded systems. You have a strong track record designing and implementing Linuxbased software architectures, developing lowlevel applications in C/C++ and Python, and delivering reliable solutions that meet the demanding standards of the defence and aerospace industry. You are experienced in Linux driver development and systemlevel programming, skilled in using Git, SVN, and GitHub for version control, and comfortable collaborating across hardware, firmware, and mechanical teams to achieve seamless integration. You bring familiarity with FPGA (Xilinx/AMD) and NVIDIA Jetson SoC platforms, an understanding of multithreaded and realtime programming, and an analytical mindset that drives process improvement and innovation.
