We are looking for an experienced individual with great leadership qualities who can oversee a team and improve our warehouse efficiency and shipping accuracy. As the Warehouse Manager, the overarching, long-term duty and responsibility of the successful candidate will be to improve the layout and systems of our warehouse and shipping stations with the end goal being fewer stress points, quicker turnaround times, and a near 100% shipping accuracy rate. This is a hands-on position where you will be working with an existing team and will be provided ample resources to improve your work environment. The day-to-day duties will include: Creating work schedules for the warehouse team. Track, adjust, and approve employees work hours in the payroll system. Compiling weekly reports on daily shipment numbers and mis-shipments. Liaising with the roasting and customer service team to ensure customer service issues are resolved promptly. Support company goals for continuous improvement. Ordering stock of warehouse supplies. Manage and monitor all activities of inventory control. Prepare certificates of origin for cross-border shipments. Oversee and participate in order processing, packaging and production of shipping labels. Ensure all incoming goods coincide with their respective waybill and report any discrepancies, damages or shortages. Collaborate with management for all staffing functions (recruiting, hiring, assignment of duties, training, personnel development, performance reviews, salary administration, promotions and disciplinary action, including termination). Plan, direct, and control all activities involved in receiving, putting away, picking and shipping of products and supplies. Develop a culture characterized by open communication, cooperation and trust. Create a positive work environment that promotes creativity and teamwork. Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency, and organization. Enforce and coach personnel in the safe work practices and requirements to ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace. Monitor on-the-job training to ensure employees gain the skills necessary to perform their assigned jobs. Requirements: 5+ years warehouse work experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. Natural ability to take initiative and solve problems. Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Clear written and verbal communication. Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player.
