We are seeking a Senior Associate, Investments to join our Equity Capital team. Reporting to the Director, Equity Finance, this individual will be responsible for contributing across the full investment lifecycle, including financial underwriting, due diligence, investment committee preparation, and portfolio monitoring. This individual will work closely with internal leadership as well as external partners including developers, consultants, and legal counsel. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of real estate development investments across Canada and gain exposure to projects spanning multiple asset classes and stages of development. Cameron Stephens Equity Capital (CSEC) is the equity investment division of Cameron Stephens and focuses on forming strategic partnerships with experienced developers while providing investors with access to premier real estate development opportunities across Canada. Key Responsibilities Investment Analysis & Financial Modeling Lead the preparation of financial pro-formas and investment analyses for both residential and commercial real estate developments and income producing assets. Prepare financing packages and supporting financial materials for prospective investments. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and business planning related to the current portfolio of assets. Prepare investment presentation materials for prospective opportunities. Develop materials for investment committee meetings and board of directors presentations. Prepare quarterly project updates and investor reporting materials. Support and coordinate due diligence and transaction execution efforts for new investments. Work closely with third-party consultants, internal stakeholders, and legal counsel to evaluate and advance investment opportunities. Review and analyze development budgets, schedules, market reports, and other supporting documentation.
