Position Overview The Senior Growth Engineer position encompasses all aspects of web and mobile analytics pipelines, data engineering, marketing attribution, cloud infrastructure, and machine learning as they pertain to the measurement and optimization of digital marketing campaigns. This is a senior-level position for someone with 5+ years of relevant experience in a marketing technology role, such as marketing engineering, solutions engineering at a marketing technology company, marketing analytics engineering, or a comparable position deeply embedded in the marketing technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a deep, handson understanding of attribution across both app and web environments, including direct experience working with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, or Kochava. You should have a strong grasp of incrementality testing methodologies, particularly matchedmarket (geolift) experimentation, and some exposure to Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) concepts and tools. Demonstrated proficiency and experience with Python, SQL, and Git are core expectations for the role. The ideal candidate will also have experience in clientfacing roles, as client consultation and support are core aspects of the position. You must be able to work semiautonomously and deliver crystalclear communication in both synchronous and asynchronous formats, with teammates and clients alike. You will be expected to demonstrate a deep familiarity with the marketing technology landscape, including attribution platforms, measurement frameworks, and the tools and infrastructure we use to provide our services. Responsibilities Advise clients and media buying teams on channel event instrumentation requirements and user attribution, such as Metas Conversions API (CAPI), Google Enhanced Conversions, TikTok Events API, and other platformspecific integrations. Validate and architect web and app analytics event pipelines in tools such as Google Tag Manager and Mobile Measurement Partners such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch. Design, execute, and analyze matchedmarket (geolift) incrementality tests using tools such as Metas GeoLift library and other ML tooling within Jupyter notebooks. Contribute to and support Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) initiatives, including data preparation, model interpretation, and clientfacing presentation of results. Write data ingest pipelines and API integrations using Python running on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Create BI dashboards and views using Looker. Write data pipelines using SQL in Data Build Tool (dbt) on Google BigQuery. Investigate data discrepancies and troubleshoot pipeline and reporting issues across web, app, and advertising platforms. Integrate web, app, eCommerce (e.g., Shopify), and CRM (e.g., Salesforce) data with advertising channel audience and conversion APIs (e.g., Facebook CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions). Implement custom BI visualizations using HTML/CSS/JS + Vue. Implement OAuth endpoints, web callbacks, and other API integrations supporting data and reporting integrations in Python. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a marketing technology role such as marketing engineering, solutions engineering at a marketing technology company, marketing analytics engineering, or a similar position. Deep, handson understanding of marketing attribution on both web and app, including direct experience configuring and working with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, or Kochava. Strong understanding of incrementality testing via matchedmarket / geolift experimentation, with handson experience designing or executing such tests. Exposure to Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) concepts, tools, or platforms; ability to support data preparation and interpret model outputs. A strong understanding of SQL fundamentals and the ability to confidently write analytical queries. Experience with Python in either a data engineering, web/API development, or data science setting, along with a demonstrated ability to manage and architect Pythonbased software projects. Experience with version control management, in particular Git. A strong working knowledge of web technologies, HTTP cookies, HTML/CSS/JS, browsertoserver communication, and REST APIs. Comfortable communicating, presenting findings, soliciting requirements, and receiving feedback directly from clients in a proficient manner. Familiarity with the marketing technology ecosystem, including channel conversion APIs, tag management platforms, analytics SDKs, and the broader landscape of tools used for paid social and search measurement. Preferred Candidates Might Have Experience or familiarity with analytics data pipeline management, in particular dbt and an analytics database such as Snowflake or BigQuery. Experience developing and integrating with REST APIs in Python. Familiarity and experience with GCP (or a similar cloud platform such as AWS). Awareness and knowledge of statistics and machine learning, in particular timeseries regression. Experience with additional MMM tools or frameworks (e.g., Metas Robyn, Googles Meridian/LightweightMMM). Prior agency experience or experience working in a client services environment.
