This is a contract position working a hybrid setting with occasional on-site reporting to Montreal for one of Canadas leading financial institutions. The Senior Incident Manager is responsible for managing global Duty of Care and Duty to Warn processes and overseeing the intake, triage, and handling of security incidents worldwide. The role provides subject matter expertise on employee safety, workplace violence, and crisis response, while supporting the design and continuous improvement of global security programs. The position offers oversight of contracted security partners and contributes to delivering a cost-effective, world-class security program. Requirements Advanced (level C) proficiency in French and English. Hybrid schedule with occasional on-site reporting to Montreal. On-call rotation required. 5-7 years of incident management experience. Training/experience in Workplace Violence or Conflict Management preferred. Strong understanding of workplace violence legislation, investigative techniques, and security best practices. Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, analytical thinking, and problem-solving under pressure. Effective presentation and communication skills; able to work with senior leaders and external agencies. Strong organizational ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Lead incident management for programs such as Robbery, Active Shooter, Kidnap/Hostage, Extortion, Workplace Violence, and Aggressive Individuals. Manage all Duty of Care/Duty to Warn matters globally and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Publish weekly incident review materials. Develop and deliver global employee security training. Maintain and enhance corporate security practices, policies, and training programs. Contribute to crisis-preparedness standards related to employee security. Identify gaps, propose improvements, and advise senior management on security and crisis response. Draft and distribute security communications, maintain awareness channels, and manage time-sensitive messaging. Support internal teams and third-party security providers to ensure consistent, high-quality service. Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, including law enforcement and emergency response partners. Il sagit dun poste contractuel hybride, avec des dplacements occasionnels sur site Montral pour lune des principales institutions financires du Canada. Le Gestionnaire principal des incidents est responsable de la gestion des processus mondiaux lis au devoir de diligence et au devoir davertir, ainsi que la rception, la priorisation et traitement des incidents de scurit lchelle internationale. Le rle consiste fournir une expertise en matire de scurit des employs, de violence en milieu de travail et de rponse aux crises, tout en soutenant la conception et lamlioration continue des programmes de scurit globaux. Le poste inclut la supervision des partenaires de scurit contractuels et contribue la mise en oeuvre dun programme de scurit de calibre mondial, rentable et performant. Exigences Matrise du franais (langue maternelle ou quivalent) et excellentes comptences en communication orale et crite en anglais. Horaire hybride avec prsence occasionnelle requise Montral. Les candidats doivent tre bas dans la rgion du Grand Montral. Participer une rotation de garde. 5 7 ans dexprience en gestion dincidents. Formation/exprience en violence en milieu de travail ou en gestion de conflits (atout). Comprhension solide de la lgislation lie la violence en milieu de travail, des techniques denqute et des meilleures pratiques en scurit. Capacit exercer un jugement sr, faire preuve de discrtion, danalyse et de rsolution de problmes sous pression. Excellentes comptences en communication et en prsentation; capacit collaborer avec des dirigeants et des organismes externes. Forte aptitude organisationnelle permettant de grer simultanment plusieurs priorits complexes. Responsabilits principales Diriger la gestion des incidents pour des programmes tels que : vol qualifi, tireur actif, enlvement/prise dotage, extorsion, violence en milieu de travail et individus agressifs. Grer tous les dossiers lis au devoir de diligence/devoir davertir lchelle mondiale et mettre en oeuvre des stratgies dattnuation des risques appropries. Publier les rapports hebdomadaires dexamen des incidents. Dvelopper et offrir des formations de scurit aux employs lchelle mondiale. Maintenir et amliorer les pratiques, politiques et programmes de formation en matire de scurit de lentreprise. Contribuer aux normes de prparation aux crises lies la scurit des employs. Identifier les lacunes, proposer des amliorations et conseiller la haute direction en matire de scurit et aux rponses de crises. Rdiger et diffuser les communications de scurit, grer les canaux de sensibilisation et assurer la transmission de messages urgents. Soutenir les quipes internes et les fournisseurs de scurit tiers afin de garantir un service cohrent et de haute qualit. tablir et maintenir des relations avec les organismes externes, notamment les forces de lordre et les services dintervention durgence.
