About the Company Our client, a respected law firm recognized for delivering strategic, practical, and client-focused employment law solutions, is seeking an Employment Associate to join their team. This role is based in a hybrid model, with 2 days in the office . Responsibilities Provide legal advice and representation on employment law matters, including wrongful dismissal, human rights, workplace investigations, and employment contracts. Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance packages, policies, and other employment-related documents. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and other materials for client matters and litigation. Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings as required. Collaborate with colleagues to manage client files, timelines, and deliverables efficiently. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law developments, case law, and regulatory changes. Support business development and client relationship initiatives as needed. Requirements 3+ years of experience in employment law. Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, case law, and workplace regulations. Experience in both litigation and advisory work preferred. Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and client-focused approach. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
